Cat decided to go back to the basic principles of product development and sales by accessing their customer’s needs and they found out that what they offered was simply not quite right for some markets. Not every project requires all the latest tech, and that is with this in mind that Caterpillar decided to create the Contractor GC series - a basic but high quality line of standby electric generators that are built to last and priced to compete.   As the name suggests, the new Contractor GC series caters to the specific needs of contractors who often operate in the bid spec market. - Available in 40 kW – 1,250 kW - Ooffers a new lower price point, - Easy to install - Includes 5-year coverage (ESC), like all Cat diesel generators - Customizable and offered with cold weather upgrades.
